Best Foot Forward

Well, well, well, this is a very DFA-esque remix of Justice. I mean that with the best possible intentions.

Shit name, even worse album title. That said, musically, Shit Robot can’t do no wrong in my eyes/ears. Cradle to the Rave (I know, I know, it’s painful to even write it), is killer from start to finish, and for me, was one of the best “dance” albums of last year.

After seeing him play live at Electric Picnic recently, dressed as a neon robot (which, incidentally, was the highlight of the festival), I had an urge to post up a track.

 “I Found Love” - perfect track to get you all worked up before a visit to your local discotheque.

Beyonce Knowles Alt. little sister Solange Knowles has collaborated with Chairlift’s Aaron Pfenning on a forthcoming DFA release.

I like DFA and I also like Solange Knowles. I like this. That bit where her vocal creeps in then explodes… Nicely done.

What do you think? Will it become a crossover hit? Is it too low-key for mainstream success? Could she become as relevant as her sister? Are these too many superficial questions? Should I stop reading Hipster Runoff?
