Another nice and mellow deep house track from Japan. Limited to 500 copies, this was released back in 2007 on Flower Records. It would seem that this is the only track Too Rooms have ever released. They should do more.
In a way this reminds me of the classic Irfane - Just a Lil’ Lovin’.
This is great; that piano hook that builds and builds… this is just full of YES.
That was just a snippet but here’s the full track (Tumblr wouldn’t let me post a private URL). It was just released on the 22nd of Sept and can be purchased in wherever you like to buy your digital vinyls and flat MP3’s.
Sexy, late, deep business in Tanner Ross’ first solo release.
‘bSide’ itself is a mid-tempo, lazy groove which gently opens out with warm delayed vocals and creeping drums - hypnotic and subtle, it’s one hell of an intro but the drop into the fat, sumptuous bass hook is pure joy. Steadily joined by soaring, high-end keyboard licks that balance the track beautifully, there’s a sudden realisation the title of ‘bSide’ is a in-joke that’s being shared.
Nestled away on the B side of a Jet Set Records 12” is this ace deep house track by Based in Kyoto. Originally released on a V.A. sampler in 2007, it got a fully deserved re-release again in 2009, with remixes to boot. Anyway, this is the original, it’s ace, enjoy.
