Vibe-ing off this on a sunny Friday afternoon. Yessssss…
New Cantoma track. Sounding dreamy. Sunshine music. Need.
Great Xmas mix from the chaps over at Wonderful Sound. Full of festive cheer. So much so, I’ve got a craving for a mince pie and a glass of sherry.
A new Winter Mix just dropped over at TukTuk. Your man Neil Diablo on mix duty once again, and as ever sounding bang on form. Tracks included come courtesy of Harvey’s new ‘act’ Locosollus, ex Buzzcocks man (and fellow Manc’) Pete Shelley, and a bit of classic Italo from G.A.N.G. Head on over to TukTuk’s soundcloud for a full tracklisting and a download.
Re-edits can be pretty boring or pointless. This one isn’t.
Released on C.O.M.B.i Records back in 2008, this is Eric Duncan let loose on the Village People track, ‘5 O’Clock in the morning’.
Another one from Japan, this time from Kenji Takimi, Crue-l Grand Orchestra’s main man - and Crue-l Records head honcho… I think (?). Anyway, BIG house track from the late 90’s; been played to death over the years hence the crackly recording. Defintley one for the weekend.
It’s the weekend.; let your hair down with a bit of 80’s hi-NRG disco from Roni Griffith. Big shout to Bobby Orlando on this one.
Of relevance to anyone who still buys music in it’s physical format…
New ace 7” leather record boxes by TukTuk; available in 5 different colours ash blue, black, brown, red and yellow, with individual fabric lining for each leather colour. Being as indecisive as ever, I’ve gone and treated myself to two.
Theses are retailing for 55 quid and available from TukTuk now, and Juno Records as of next week.
Plug over.
Big fan of Denmark’s Music For Dreams over the past 10 years (as I am sure Kevin will testify), accumulating pretty much everything they’ve ever put out. Here’s a remix from one of their artists, Banzai Republic, a super limited, super super white label 12” that never got an *official* release.
